The RYHC has three divisions. All Choirs rehearse on Wednesdays. Location Peace Mennonite Church, until School access is restored. Choristers may choose to participate with in-person rehearsals or via zoom, or in combination.
- Prelude Choir for 5 – 9 years of age
Rehearsal from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm - Debut Choir for 9 – 13 years of age
Rehearsals from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm - Festival Choir for 13 – 19 years of age
Rehearsals from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Auditions will be
Wednesday, September 23, 2020 4:00 pm – 7:30 pm at Peace Mennonite Church 11571 Daniels Road in Richmond. No appointment needed.
Wednesday, September 30, 2020 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Zoom by appointment.
Please come prepared to sing 1 song of choice. Returning choir members DO need to re- audition. There is a $25. audition fee that is credited to your tuition if you register.
There is a modest annual tuition, plus some additional fees for choir costumes, refundable music deposits and fundraising fees. Bursaries are available by application for students who require financial assistance. Applications are available by confidential request.
Our general auditions are in May/June and September, however we will schedule private auditions as well for special circumstances within those season time frames if there is room in the appropriate choir. If you have missed our general audition times, please contact Heidi Epp, the Artistic Director for a private appointment at heidi@ryhc.org.
For the audition, please prepare a song of your choice to sing. Some suggestions would be “O Canada” or The audition will also include some vocal range and ear testing.
